Eligibility

To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, have legal authority to contract for the property in question, and provide accurate and current information when requesting service. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

Service Engagement

A service engagement is formed when you request a quote or service, we provide a written or digital estimate, work order, or service agreement, and you accept and authorize the work (either by signature, online confirmation, or payment).

Each engagement is subject to these Terms and any specific terms set forth in your signed estimate or agreement.

Estimates and Work Authorization

All price quotes are based on information available at the time of estimation. If hidden conditions or additional work is required once the project begins, a Change Order will be issued and must be approved by you before proceeding.

Verbal approvals may be accepted for urgent or safety-related repairs.

Payment Terms

Payment terms vary by project and will be specified in your estimate or invoice. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Deposits are required before work begins.
  • Final payment is due upon completion of the project.
  • Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge or the maximum allowed by law.

We accept checks, credit cards, and electronic transfers. Returned payments may incur administrative fees.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel a scheduled project in writing before work begins.
If materials have been ordered or labor allocated, you may be responsible for associated costs.

Once work has begun, refunds are limited to unperformed portions of the project, less material and labor expenses incurred to date.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property, ensure utilities (electricity, water, etc.) are available during the project, secure pets and valuables, obtain necessary homeowner association or community approvals (if applicable), and not interfere with ongoing work or alter agreed-upon project specifications without notice.

Homeowner Help Options is not liable for delays or damages caused by unsafe conditions, interference, or unpermitted changes.

Company Responsibilities

Homeowner Help Options

will perform work in a professional, workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards; obtain and maintain necessary contractor or trade licenses as required by state law; comply with building codes and safety regulations; and communicate promptly regarding project status, delays, or cost adjustments.

Materials and Warranties

Unless otherwise stated:

  • We use quality materials suitable for the agreed project scope.
  • Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and passed on to you.
  • Workmanship warranties apply for a period stated in your contract (typically 90 days to 1 year, depending on project type).

Warranty coverage excludes misuse, neglect, or damage caused by third parties or natural events.

Subcontractors

We may engage licensed subcontractors for specialized tasks (e.g., electrical, HVAC, roofing). Homeowner Help Options remains responsible for ensuring subcontractors meet professional and safety standards.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Homeowner Help Options shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of use or property value. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Home Owner Help Options, its officers, employees, agents, and subcontractors from all claims, damages, or losses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your negligence or misconduct, or conditions at the property outside our control.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

We maintain the confidentiality of all personal, financial, and property information you provide. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is collected and protected.

Insurance

Homeowner Help Options maintains general liability insurance and, where applicable, workers’ compensation coverage for employees and subcontractors. Proof of coverage is available upon request.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond our control, including natural disasters, labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, or government actions.

Termination

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. Upon termination you shall pay for completed work and materials ordered; we will cease work safely and secure the site.

Sections regarding payment, warranties, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

Dispute Resolution

We value resolution through communication. In case of a dispute both parties will attempt informal resolution. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in Sheridan County, Wyoming. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorney fees unless otherwise ordered.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. Updated versions take effect upon posting to our website or written notice to clients. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
